ebay groups

i belong to ebay groups....primitive and aceo.....it is so wonderful "Chatting" with people during the day, in between creating.....there are so many stories to share...hearing everyone's daily drama is heartwarming, can be sad sometimes, but is always interesting! we can vent our gripes, rejoice in accomplishments and pray for each other when someone is sick....it is truely an extended family.....three cheers for everyone...............................................mary

Sewing! Painting! Fabric!

Just when i think i am done creating...something else pops into my head and it keeps spinning until i do something with it!! It's funny how many modern sewing machines are out there for every crafter's need...i started out on an old singer machine in the 1970's, when my mum in law encouraged me to sew..it was the peddle kind...in the 80's i went through a period of sewing all of my quilts by hand....that lasted for a few years and then with all the quilts that were dying to be made, i got a white machine and started piecing , on machine, but hand quilting....then in the 90's when the white died...i got an elna for crafting and a singer quilting machine that i have to crank out and use!! in the meantime, i starting painting and collecting TOO Much Fabric.....so much so that i rarely have to buy anything for the dolls and quilts that i make.......welcome ...the summer of sewing....mary mattis polkadothill
